As the president of HCA Mountain Division in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Greg Angle oversees the management of 11 hospitals in Utah, Idaho, and Alaska. Active within several professional organizations, Gregory “Greg” Angle maintains membership in the American Hospital Association.
Established in 1898, the American Hospital Association (AHA) advocates for effective public policy and publishes educational resources for health care workers. Additionally, the AHA recognizes excellence in hospitals and health systems with several professional awards, including the Quest for Quality Prize, a $75,000 prize awarded to a health care agency or organization that has demonstrated innovation and leadership in community health. The Quest for Quality Prize honors outstanding and safe patient care, particularly from hospitals and agencies that use new models of care to improve community health outcomes. In addition to the $75,000 award winner, Quest for Quality recognizes two semi-finalists with $12,500, and gives up to four Citations of Merit.
